Around £1,000 worth of alcohol has been stolen from Booths stores across Lancashire after 10 thefts were reported to police in less than a month.

Officers are now appealing for information to help them identify the men seen in these CCTV images.

Between December and January police have received reports of 10 thefts from stores in Lancashire, including offences in Garstang, Penwortham, Lytham, Longridge, Fulwood and Lancaster.

On each occasion high value spirits have been selected with the offenders putting the bottles down their trousers and leaving the store.

Following CCTV enquiries police want to identify these men, pictured, in connection with the offences.

It is believed they are from the Greater Manchester area.

It is estimated around £1,000 of alcohol was taken, with some bottles recovered when the pair have been challenged.

PC Lorraine Handley, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are keen to speak to these two men as soon as possible.

“If you know who they are please contact police immediately.”
