A man has been taken to hospital after a van smashed into several parked cars in an early morning crash.
The incident happened just after 5am on Monday on Dill Hall Lane in Church, Accrington.
Emergency services, including the fire service, were called to the incident.
A spokesperson for the police said: "It looks like two vans have been involved in a collision.
"It's happened around 5.10am on Monday, and it seems a van has crashed into another van and as a result a number of other cars have been damaged.
"It's not clear whether the second van was stationery at the time of the collision but it looks likely.
"The driver of the first van was taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up."
A road blockage was put in place on Dill Hall Lane until officers had dealt with the incident and the road could be cleared of debris.
By 7am the road was fully opened.
