Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with affray, money laundering, supply of drugs, and theft.
On Sunday, officers from the task force apprehended the trio after a large amount of money, drugs, knives and other weapons thought to be involved in the suspected offences were discovered.
Police in Preston say the seizure of such items and the arrest of the men and the woman would hopefully have a profound effect on the Fletcher Road area of the city, which they will continue to target in the coming weeks.
A spokesperson for the task force said: "Preston NPT Task Force have arrested two males and one female on suspicion of a number of offences including affray, money laundering, supplying class A and B drugs, theft and permitting drug misuse on premises.
"As well as the large amount of money and drugs, there has been a number of knives and other offensive weapons taken off the streets.
"This action will hopefully have a profound effect in the area of Fletcher Road.
"Task Force will continue to target this area in the coming weeks.
"Please continue to report any incidents and offenders to us via 101."
