TRIBUTES have poured in for Marjorie Fryer of Salesbury, who died peacefully in hospital on January 5, aged 91.

She was a devoted wife to the late Geoffrey, a loving mum to Gillian and Nigel, a sister to Doreen and a nana to Chloe, Amy and Campbell.

Former hairdresser and talented bowler Marjorie was still the best lady bowler at the Salesbury Bowling Club at the age of 91.

She was a member of St Peter’s Church, and she loved travelling.

Daughter Gillian Peel-Fryer said: “She was always smiling and looking happy and glamorous nearly always with a glass of fizz, a gin and tonic or a Benedictine in her hand!”

She added: “We all love you and we will miss you dearly.

"We need to all learn to look to the future, not dwell on the past and live our lives each day the Marjorie way.”
