VACCINATION centres are opening across the country, with the Government pledging that nobody will live less than 10 miles from a vaccination hub.
Currently in East Lancashire there are 10 vaccination hubs - eight local vaccination hubs and two hospital vaccination hubs.

There are also plans for more vaccination hubs to open, including Lancashire's first mass vaccination centre at Blackburn Cathedral which is set to open on Monday (January 18).
Seven mass vaccination hubs have already opened in the country, one of which is at the Etihad Tennis Centre in Manchester.
Speaking on social media, MP for Rossendale and Darwen, Jake Berry said: "The good news is over the next few weeks more and more will be opening - including a mass vaccination centre at Blackburn Cathedral and as more supplies become available, local community Pharmacies.
"We have reached a major milestone this week, with more than 2.3 million people in the UK vaccinated.
"The vaccination programme – the biggest in NHS history – is off to a strong start, having vaccinated more people than anywhere else in Europe."
The local vaccination hubs are:

- Acorn Primary Health Care Centre, Accrington
- Yarnspinners Primary Health Care Centre, Nelson
- Colne Health Centre Pharmacy, Colne
- Rawtenstall Primary Health Care Centre, Rawtenstall
- Clitheroe Health Centre, Clitheroe
- Barbara Castle Way Health Centre, Blackburn
- Darwen Health Centre, Darwen
The hospital vaccination hubs are:
- Royal Blackburn Hospital
- Burnley General Hospital
