NORTH West retailer Gee Tee’s has kickstarted the year with a generous donation to the local charity Fresh as a Daisy.
Together with Lancashire Ladies Fundraising Group, the company donated items such as shower gel, toothpaste and deodorant to the Bolton organisation, which distributes hygiene and sanitary products to vulnerable local women and girls.
Fresh as a Daisy trustee Dawn Lythgoe said: “We are absolutely delighted with the support of the donations of sanitary and hygiene items that we have received from Gee Tee’s.
“It’s so lovely that local businesses are choosing to supporting local charities and communities in this way.
“These essential products can really make a difference to the individuals and families that are having a tough time at the moment.”
Donations can be made at Urban Outreach grub tubs situated across Bolton. For more information, email freshdaisybolton@gmail.com.
