A GROUP of teenagers have been taking part in anti-social behaviour and coronavirus breaches at a bus station.

Police officers say that they were deployed to Rawtenstall Bus Station this evening after reports that the young people had also been causing criminal damage and threatening staff.

They were able to restore order to the station but have appealed to parents to take more care when monitoring their children.

A police spokesperson said: "This behaviour will not be tolerated.

"As parents, please be aware of where your children are and what they are doing.

"Due to the current climate we are also concerned about your children bringing COVID-19 back into your own households and affect your own families.

Please help us, help you, by monitoring your children's activities."
