POLICE are warning drivers to be careful of the weather conditions after a number of crashes this morning.
Ribble Valley Police neighbourhood team posted on social media about incidents on Saturday morning.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "We’ve had a couple of minor collisions on the A682 between Gisburn and Barrowford, which thankfully have been non-injury.
"As a result of the collisions, we had to close the road for a short while until Lancashire County Council had topped up the road surface treatment. The road is now back open.
"In these freezing conditions it is imperative that drivers slow down and drive to the conditions as although we have dealt with the worst of it, there will still be patches of ice on the road.
"Please take it easy if you’re out and about (usual caveats around necessary journeys apply) and stay safe."
