BLACKBURN Bus Company will be operating services it says are built around the needs of key workers from Sunday.
With the new national lockdown meaning people are only travelling for essential purposes, Blackburn Bus Company will be operating on temporary timetables, with some routes running less often than normal.
All routes will continue to run, with more than 80 per cent of usual journeys still available and first and last bus times remaining the same.
Changes have been made to the 1, 4, 6 and 7, Valleyline, 24, Hotline and Red Express. The Irwell Line times will be changing from 17 January.
The 1 Blackburn to Darwen then Bolton
Monday to Friday - every 10 minutes to Darwen and 20 minutes to Bolton in the day, every hour to Bolton in the evening
Saturdays - every 15 minutes to Darwen and 30 minutes to Bolton. Sundays – every hour.
4 Blackburn to Leyburn Road
Monday to Friday - every hour in the day, no evening journeys
Saturdays - every hour. Sundays - no journeys
6 and 7 Blackburn to Great Harwood and Accrington
Monday to Friday - every 10 minutes to Oswaldtwistle and 20 minutes to Great Harwood in the day and every hour in the evening.
Saturdays - every 30 minutes. Sundays - every hour
Valleyline Clitheroe to Blackburn then Shadsworth
Monday to Friday - every 30 minutes to Shadsworth and hour to Clitheroe in the day and every hour in the evening.
Saturdays - every 30 minutes to Shadsworth and hour to Clitheroe. Sundays - every two hours
24 Blackburn to Chorley
Monday to Saturday - every two hours.
Hotline Preston to Blackburn then Burnley
Monday to Friday - every 30 minutes in the day and every hour in the evening.
Saturdays and Sundays - every hour.
Red Express Accrington, Haslingden & Ramsbottom to Manchester
Monday to Friday - every hour in the day, no evening journeys. Saturdays and Sundays - every two hours.
In lockdown, you must not leave or be outside of your home except where you have a ‘reasonable excuse’, including working, essential activities and medical care.
