A DARWEN Based firm which won a prestigious design award for its work on an exclusive health spa in Warrington has shared an inside look at its incredible work.
APM Design was voted winners in the +£500,000 category of the 2020 Northern Design Awards Project of the Year awards after completing work on the Athelis health spa, one of the most prestigious venues of its kind in the region.

The family-run Darwen company are the first design firm to be partnered with the Northern Powerhouse scheme and says that this award is a fitting way for its long-term stability and open business practices to be recognised, along with the way it has been on hand to meet clients’ needs despite the pandemic.
Director Andy McCluskey said: “We would just like to say what a massive honour it is for APM to win this award.
“It means a great deal to us all and is recognition for all the teams hard work this year. 2020 has been an extraordinary and unprecedentedly difficult year for the whole World. Winning this award has therefore given us a much-needed boost.”
APM Design, based on Knott Street in Darwen, offer commercial interior design practice which also offers chartered project and cost management services.

In this case the company provided a full interior design role for the Athelis health spa, based on Apollo Park, Charon Way, Westbrook, Warrington which also included terracing and landscape design outside the building.
The award rounds off a challenging but fruitful year for the Darwen company which says it is now looking forward to several projects for 2021 and hopes to be there to help all kinds of venues as they prepare to reopen once the new national lockdown eases.
