A MAN was attacked in the street by another man with a metal bar in Brierfield.
Officers were called around 3.45pm on December 2 after a report a man in his 30s had been injured.
The man had been walking on Burnley Road when he was involved in an argument with a man on the other side of the road.
The victim continued walking towards Colne Road when a blue Vauxhall Astra pulled up and the same man got out of the vehicle.
The suspect chased the man before hitting him with a metal bar, causing bruising to the victim’s arm, as well as a fractured rib.
The attacker made off in the Vauxhall, with the victim taken to hospital for treatment.
Following enquiries we want to identify this man, pictured, in connection with the offence.
