Fire: The blaze occurred on a barge on the canal in Barnoldswick
A BARGE caught fire on Barnoldswick Canal earlier today, having been started by a stove.
Two fire engines from Barnoldswick, Nelson and Preston were called to tackle the blaze and arrived at the barge at around 3pm on Saturday January 2.
Firefighters used a hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
