AN apology has been issued after bins were left uncollected today in parts of Colne and Nelson.
Pendle Borough Council says that some of the bins were missed by collection rounds due to the wintry weather.
The authority has said that they will attempt to recover all missed bins on Monday January 4.
A Pendle Borough Council spokesperson said: "We're sorry if we missed your bin!
"We try to re-visit all areas we missed on Monday January 4 to empty bins.
"Please leave your bin out if we missed your bin."
