A LITTLE boy was reunited with his stolen Christmas present thanks to the keen nose of a police dog.
Lancashire police officers and dogs were out working on Christmas Day when they received a report about a missing electric scooter, which had only just been delivered.
Luckily PD Koa was on hand and tracked down the boy’s toy within hours of it doing missing.
A police spokesman said: “Whilst most of you were sleeping off yesterday’s festivities Santa’s little helper PD Koa was out looking for a recently stolen electric scooter that Santa had only delivered to a boy on the good list the night before.
“It didn’t take the nose long to locate it hidden in woods.”
