The Grinch has been spotted in a town in East Lancashire.
Wearing his trademark red Christmas jacket and walking his dog (we don't know if he's called Max sorry), the Grinch has been photographed out and about in several different locations in Darwen.
Rumoured to have first been sighted on December 15, the avocado-green pot-bellied creature has been delighting residents while on his daily walks, bringing some much-needed festive cheer to the town.
The identity of the Grinch remains a mystery, but it is thought some people have been tagging the person beneath the costume in posts on Facebook.
One Darwen resident said: "I know the guy has been tagged, but I don't know if he is trying to remain anonymous or not.
"Everyone wants to thank him though, he's put a smile on all our faces."
The Grinch, a fictional character created by Dr Seuss, has spent the past 53 years living in seclusion on a cliff, overlooking the town of Whoville.
Perhaps the Darwen Grinch has been living up at Jubilee Tower for the last year?
Perhaps we'll never know.
