Amazing Accrington, an initiative to raise the profile of Hyndburn has announced the appointment of two new board members.
The initiative aims to bring together business leaders, Hyndburn Borough Council, and MP Sara Britcliffe to rally support for the area and introduce projects to benefit residents.
The two new board appointments are Morag Davies, who is Assistant Principal for the Nelson and Colne College Group and Centre Principal for Accrington and Rossendale College and Collette King, HR Director at Studio Retail Ltd.
Murray Dawson, Chair of the Board, said "We're delighted to strengthen our efforts, and appreciate their enthusiasm for Hyndburn. We welcome them to the board, and look forward to continue doing great work for #AmazingAccrington."
Morag is a highly experienced teacher, manager and senior leader and also chairs the Lancashire Digital Routeway Network, a LEP and Gatsby-supported group aimed at developing sector-leading digital education across the county.
Collette is a commercial, business focused leader with a professional background in Human Resources, Organisational Development and Business Transformation.
