TRIBUTES have been flooding in for a Blackburn man who was known for his kind heart and character.

Family man, Peter Pearson, passed away on November 21 aged 63.

By trade Peter was a mechanic and those who knew him said that he loved tinkering with engines and had real talents.
Family was first and foremost and Pete was a devoted and loving family man.

His loving daughter, Jessica Pearson, paid tribute to her dad.
She said: “He was the best dad I could have ever wished for. He was always there, good and bad. He never gave up on his family and he’s made me the person I am today.

“Dad had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. I adored and loved him with all my heart and like we use to say dad - ‘Love you bigger than the whole wide world.’

“My everything has gone to a special place now but I really hope we meet again and get them big arms around us and tell us everything will be fine.

“Love you dad. I will forever walk in your footsteps.”
Pete was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

He was a valued friend to many.

His close friend Keith paid tribute.

He said: “Pete was also the best kind of friend you could wish for.

“He made time for everyone and loved everyone around him to be happy.
“His laughter and love of life will be things he will be remembered for. Pete also enjoyed holidays over the years and especially their caravanning trips to Cornwall with family and friends.
“His grandchildren were truly blessed with the best grandad.”

Pete completed his engineering apprenticeship at Phillips.

Former friend and colleague Steven Walmsley said: “I met Pete whilst working at Tony Knowles motor bodies. He was one of the funniest and kindest men I have ever met and there was never a dull moment when Pete was about. RIP pal.”
