BLACKBURN Round Table have announced the schedule for when Santa's sleigh will visit your street.
This year, the sleigh will not stop to discourage people gathering and instead they are encouraging people to remain on their properties and maintain social distancing.
This year they will be visiting the following areas:-
Feniscowles - Wednesday 2nd from 6:30pm
Lower Darwen - Thursday 3rd from 6:30pm
Beechwood - Saturday 5th from 3:30pm
Pleckgate - Tuesday 8th from 6:30pm
Brownhill - Wednesday 9th from 6:30pm
Oakdale - Thursday 10th from 6:30pm
Lammack - Saturday 12th from 3:30pm
Fernhurst - Sunday 13th from 3:30pm
Langho - Tuesday 15th from 6:30pm
Mill Hill - Wednesday 16th from 6:30pm
Infirmary - Wednesday 16th from 6:30pm
Greenhills - Wednesday 16th from 6:30pm
Darwen - Thursday 17th from 6:30pm
Collectors will not be door knocking or handing out sweets but charitable donations are being welcomed through text message.
Simply text "RTSANTA" along with the amount you would like to donate to 70085. For example, Text “RTSANTA 2” to 70085 to donate £2 (Texts cost £2 plus one standard rate message).
Money raised by the group is distributed to local charities and causes throughout the year. This year they have supported NightSafe, ELHT&Me and Blackburn Sea Cadets.
