THE latest coronavirus data has revealed which wards in East Lancashire have a decreasing number of new cases and the few places where infections continue to climb.
An interactive map, which is available to view within the Government’s Covid-19 portal, has been comprised using the latest data on new cases and infection rates.
The data has revealed that all bar a handful of areas in East Lancashire have reported a decrease in new cases with South Darwen, Earby and Barrowford reporting the largest percentage drops in new cases.
However there are some areas where the number of new cases reported by Public Health England have increased. These are:

- Roe Lee, Brownhill & Sunnybower
- Broadfield & Knuzden
- Crawshawbooth, Reedsholme & Water
- Barrowford, Higham & Pendleside
- Barnoldswick North
