OFFICERS continue to clampdown on non-essential travel as over 40 cars were stopped.
Police in the Ribble Valley pulled over the vehicles in response to reports of anti-social driving and covid breaches in and around Barrow Brook.
Several drivers have been spoken to in relation to their driving and advised on regulations currently in place with the national lockdown.
PC Butterworth said: "Tickets are still being issued for unnecessary travel and any other breaches of the current guidelines so please consider this if you are travelling from out of the area to meet with friends."
