SANTA will still be riding his sleigh around Blackburn's streets this year, despite the Covid-19 lockdown.
Blackburn Round Table have released a video saying that the annual street sleigh ride will be a little bit different this year due to social distancing rules.
The sleigh rides will be between Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 17 and the group will be posting the schedule on their Facebook page for parents to see when Santa will arrive on their street.
In the video, Santa said: "We shall visit Blackburn and the surrounding area as usual but with some changes.
"We all know the rules about keeping distant and that is really difficult because I know you all like to climb on my sleigh and have a chat; however, I don't think I have enough hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial spray to let you all do that."
They are asking that when the sleigh is driving through the streets that children and parents come to their doors to wave to Santa instead of gathering in the street.
Blackburn Round Table are still accepting donations for charity but are asking that people text the amount they want to donate to a number instead of the collection bucket they normally have.
The donations are then split between local charities across the year.
