A four-year-old boy had to be taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
Emergency services were called just after 8.30am on Tuesday to The Paddock in Oswaldtwistle after receiving reports that a young child had been involved in an accident.
It is not thought the boy was seriously injured but he was taken to hospital with a suspected leg injury.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called at shortly after 8:30am on Tuesday, to the report of a collision between a boy, four, and a vehicle on The Paddock in Oswaldtwistle.
"The boy has been taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital with a suspected leg injury."
