'Turf Moor, Turf Moor' - these were the immortal words uttered by Burnley's Jordan North as he sailed (waveringly) through last night's trial in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! amassing nine out of ten stars for the castle camp.

But if being sick at the top of a cliff or helping Vernon Kay shower wasn't 'peak' viewing, then East Lancashire's most loveable radio DJ squealing the name of his favourite football team's stadium while being slithered over by a bunch of snakes has got to be number one.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Joining ex-Eastender's star, Shane Richie for the first 'official' trial, aptly titled, The Viper Vault, Jordan told presenters Ant and Dec that he'd 'rather do cliffs than this'.

The terrified 30-year-old had to face his fear of snakes during the trial and found himself locked inside one of two vaults built into the castle floor - Shane in the other.

Inside each vault were five locked safes numbered one to ten, with each one containing a star.

Ant explained to Jordan and Shane that a code would be required to open the safes and they would need to work together as a team to open them.

With 10 minutes to find 10 stars and secure 10 meals for the castle camp, Jordan exclaimed, 'I've never been this scared in my life', as the duo were reminded they wouldn't be alone in the vaults.

As the trial began, it was perhaps Jordan screaming 'Turf Moor' when thinking of his 'happy place' that provided viewers with the most entertainment and Ant and Dec the perfect opportunity to rib his beloved Burnley.

Dec told viewers: "Turf Moor, in case you didn't know, is where his beloved Burnley play football."

Ant added: "That's Burnley, who are second bottom of the table, and haven't won a league game this season."

"I'd hate to see his sad place," replied Dec.

Lancashire Telegraph:

After securing nine stars for the camp, Jordan said he couldn't have been happier, telling And and Dec: "My brother, who is a paratrooper said to me no matter how scared or cold you get to think of your happy place.”

Jordan is currently tipped as one of the favourites to win this years' I'm A Celeb, along with trial partner Shane Richie.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is back on ITV at 9pm tonight.
