AN 18-YEAR-OLD has been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing.
Officers from Rossendale police made the arrest on Thursday afternoon in the Store Street are of Haslingden.
He remains in custody and anyone who knows anything about suspicious activity in the area is encourage to contact the police.
A spokesman said: "Officers from Rossendale Police have arrested an 18 year old male on suspicion of supplying Class A and Class B drugs in the Store Street area of Haslingden this afternoon.
"The male is currently detained and if you saw any suspicious behaviour around this area at around 1.30 pm you can let us know on 101 quoting log 646 of today.
"If you want to pass information about drug dealing anonymously you can also do this via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
