A NEW band have reached the final of Little Mix's talent show, with an East Lancashire guitarist representing his town.

Patrick Ralphson from Trawden alongside his fellow bandmates in Since September has made it through to the final of Little Mix The Search in the episode which aired tonight on BBC1 at 7pm.

The band were saved from being in the bottom two as they alongside New Priority battled to be kept in the show.

Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirwall both opted to save Since September, who showed signs of relief on being chosen to stay in the competition.

Patrick's mum, Molly Ralphson, was over the moon. She said: "I was a bit stressed watching it tonight.

"I'm just still coming down from the ceiling because it was amazing.

"They got through to the final and that was what they wanted, we are excited to watch the final tomorrow and hopefully they get the public vote."

This episode was originally due to air last weekend but was postponed due to the PM Boris Johnson's lockdown announcement and was moved to tonight.

The final will also air on BBC1 at 6.05pm tomorrow night and is the first time the public will be able to vote for their favourite band to win.

Remember to vote tomorrow to support the band to win.
