AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl from Whalley is cycling 100 miles to raise £1000 for the Royal British Legion.
Isabella Brannigan started her journey on the first of this month alongside her grandad and will be cycling throughout November.
So far the Whalley C of E pupil has braved the weather and will continue to tackle the Leeds Liverpool canal.
Isabella’s mum Kelly Brannigan said: “Isabella is undertaking the ride on Sundays through the month of November and with the weather worsening day by day this will be no mean feat.
“We are so proud of her.
“Isabella started with a modest but uncertain target of £100 but just hours after going live with the pages and sponsor forms she smashed through that barrier, as it stands she is just over the £400 mark, so with youthful exuberance now wants to try and get to £1000.”
