AN INJURED person had to be cut free from their car after a road traffic collision yesterday.
Two fire engines from Clitheroe arrived at the scene on Settle Road, Bolton by Bowland just before 4pm on Monday where they found that two vehicles had collided with a motorist trapped inside one of them.
They were able to use Holmatro cutting and stabilising equipment to rescue the trapped person who was then treated with first-aid equipment.
Lancashire Road Police and ambulance services also attended the incident.
Emergency services remained at the scene for around one hour.
