A CAR has been seized in Bolton after reportedly being driven by an unsupervised provisional licence holder.

Police stopped the Audi S3 on Chorley Old Road and said the driver was an unsupervised provisional licence holder and that the vehicle had not valid insurance.

"The car was seized and the driver reported", a Greater Manchester Police spokesman added.

Meanwhile, a Vauxhall Astra was stopped on Chorley Street and officers reported that the MOT had expired eight months ago in February.
