FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene of a blaze after calls were received about a garage fire.
Two engines from Nelson responded to the call, which was made at around 12.17 on Sunday afternoon after a fire started inside a home garage. Nobody is believed to have been injured in the incident. A spokesman said: "Two fire engines from Nelson attended a fire in a domestic garage on Glenfield Road in Nelson. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire."
