A Man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged in connection with the thefts of high value cars.
Elliot Newman is charged with robbery of a £21,000 BMW from Bowker Blackburn on June 28 when a salesman’s arm was trapped in a door as he tried to remove the keys; theft of a £48,000 BMW from Lloyd BMW Colne and theft of a Mercedes belonging to Hippo Leasing.
Newman, 18, of Sherbourne Road, Middleton, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court where he will appear on November 23.
