POLICE officers and ambulance were called to an address in Blackburn following the death of a man.
The Lancashire Telegraph reported this morning how emergency services were called to Cedar Street shortly after 7am to a house on the road.
FAMILY PAY TRIBUTE TO MUCH LOVED DAD
A Police statement read, "We were called at around 8:10am this morning (October 24th) to report that the man, 58, had sadly been found deceased at an address on Cedar Street."
A statement was later updated and read, "Earlier this afternoon, we posted a message about the sudden death of a man at an address on Cedar Street, Blackburn, this morning.
"We know there has been some concern in the local community and so we would like to give you an update. We can confirm that following our enquiries, the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
"We have informed his family and our thoughts remain with them at this incredibly sad time."
Neighbours said they were shocked.
Zaheer who lives around the corner to the street in the Bastwell area of town said, “I have lived here for many years.
“He is polite and nice neighbour and comes from a hard-working family.
“Everyone is shocked round here.”
