FOUR men armed with knives attacked two men yesterday afternoon, according to a report made to police.
Officers were sent to New Lane in Breightmet just before 3pm after being told about the alleged.
But police said there are no reports of injuries and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a report of an assault on New Lane, Bolton shortly before 3pm on Friday, October 23.
"It was reported that four men armed with knives had assaulted two other men.
"There are currently no reports of injuries.
"Enquires are ongoing."
