A restaurant is offering a free chicken or a vegetarian biryani during the half-term and got a huge boost after Marcus Rashford backed their idea.

The Manchester United and England star today re-tweeted his support to millions of followers for a number of projects across the country who were supporting kids through the half-term.

This week the Conservative controlled House of Commons decided by 322 votes to 261 - a majority of 61 – not to extend free school meals for vulnerable children over the one week break.

Mumtaz Leeds said any child aged between 4 to 16 years can come between 5pm to 6pm from Saturday 24th October 2020 to Sunday 1st November 2020 (8 days in total) to collect a free chicken or vegetarian biryani.

Mumtaz Leeds posted, “This is NOT about politics. This is about doing our part to help. Just turn up in a safe manner with an adult (if you are very young) and we will support you. We will do our part to help.”

“And if you are a business owner please do consider doing this yourself. Good only begets good. We have to help each other during these very difficult times.”
