Shoppers today had to deal with a disruption to their normal routine thanks to a diesel spillage.
The spillage occurred near the entrance to the Tesco store in Rawtenstall at around 11.25am on October 21 and effected sections of the car park as well as parts of the road leading up to the store.
As such these sections were left in an extremely slippy state
Rossendale Borough Council have not yet confirmed if the spillage has been entirely dealt with but have said that both motorists and pedestrians travelling near the Bocholt Way should take car.
