MORE than 40 drivers were caught driving above the speed limit on a Bolton road in the space of an hour, police have said.

Officers reported clocking 44 drivers travelling above the limit on Moss Bank Way today, Monday.

And the drivers flouting the law are set to receive tickets in the post.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Officers from the Transport Unit have conducted speed enforcement today (Monday) on Moss Bank Way.

"In just one hour, 44 drivers were captured travelling above the speed limit.

"All drivers will receive tickets through the post."
