THESE cats are in need of a new home and are currently living at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary.

Each week we share the details of pets that need a new home.

If you think you could help one of these animals then get in touch with the sanctuary.

From dogs and cats to horses and farm animals, Bleakholt has a vast array of animals at the sanctuary.

Volunteers there believe that every animal deserves a second chance and this means they often take in animals that have health conditions or are elderly.

Here’s this week’s pets in need described by Karen Weed who manages the sanctuary.

LLOYD is a very handsome man who sadly came to Bleakholt visit as a stray.

He was found in a feral colony in Failsworth but he’s NOT feral.

He is very sweet natured and enjoys a good fuss, but is fairly timid at the moment.

Lloyd needs a quiet home where he can have lots of cuddles and a confidence boost.
Due to his quiet nature, he would be best in a home without young children.

Sadly, Lloyd has feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV+).

This means he w so will have to be a house cat, he can’t be rehomed with other non-FIV+ cats.

We think he could possibly be rehomed with other FIV+ cats as he hasn’t shown any signs of aggression towards them.

He deserves a loving home.

PATCH is a beauty who came from a home with six others cats.
She is rather timid and shy at the moment so she needs a quiet home without any children where she can grow in confidence.

Patch does have a slight mark in her right eye that is from having cat flu in the past this doesn’t bother her at all.

Patch could live with other cats but no dogs because of her shy nature.

If you think that you could give one of these cats a loving home then visit www.bleakholt.org.

You can also help out by making a donation to the charity or help  with donations of a wide variety of items such as animal food or bedding, this can be blankets, towels, sheets and other similar materials that can be used to make beds.
