A GROUP of youths smashed roof windows of a business in Breightmet yesterday, Thursday, causing "significant damage".
Police were sent to Oakenbottom Road after reports of anti-social behaviour and discovered the vandalism that had been caused to the property.
Officers say they detained two youths and are working to identify other individuals that were allegedly involved in the incident.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Officers from the Breightmet Neighbourhood Team attended reports of ASB on Oakenbottom Road.
"A number of youths had smashed roof windows to a business, causing significant damage.
"Two youths were detained and enquiries are ongoing to identify the others."
