A FUNDRAISING hero from East Lancashire has raised over £1,000 for charities in his community.
Jack Walsh raised funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association walking up Pendle Hill in a Deadpool suit.
He said: “Blistering winds and rain played a heavy part on my walk, limiting my visibility at times which caused frequent slips and falls but for a cause which is close to my heart, anything was possible.
“My charity fundraiser named ‘To Be A Hero’ has been up and running for the past two years where I have raised money for charities including the MND Association, Pendleside Hospice, East Lancashire Hospice & Breast Cancer Now.”
The total amount excluding this recent walk raised is £1211.25.
