A WOMAN was hit by a car in Bolton yesterday evening, Tuesday.
Emergency services were sent to Derby Street at around 6.35pm following the collision.
A woman in her 50s suffered injuries and was taken to hospital although it is not believed that she was seriously hurt.
A North West Ambulance service spokeswoman said: "We received a call to attend a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
"We treated a female patient in her 50s for injuries not thought to be serious and took her to hospital."
Firefighters also attended the scene.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision, on Derby Street in Bolton on October 13 at 6.35pm.
“One fire engine from Bolton Central quickly attended the scene.
“The collision involved one vehicle.
"The fire service were at the scene for two hours and five minutes.”
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for more details.
