CHORLEY Accident and Emergency department is set to re-open on limited hours.
Commons speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle has announced the emergency care will be back open on Monday 2 November.
The MP has been in communication with Secretary of State for Health Matt Hancock after the department has been closed during the coronavirus pandemic.
The news comes as East Lancashire is braced for tighter lockdown restrictions which could be announced in the coming days to curb soaring infection rates across the North of England.
Ii will initially open from 8am until 5pm with plans to extend the hours to 8am-8pm soon after.
