The man remains in custody.
A MAN from Hapton has been arrested for theft from a motor vehicle, interference from a motor vehicle and fraud.
This comes after a sudden spike in vehicle crime in the area in the early hours of Monday September 21.
The man was arrested by officers from Burnley and Padiham Neighbourhood Policing Team.
A police spokesperson said: "The male has been remanded in custody to appear in court tomorrow.
"We would like to thank the local community for their help in assisting us in securing these charges."
