BLACKBURN Health Care Assistant wins East Lancashire Hospital Trust employee of the month.
ELHT’s latest accolade is awarded Sarah Collas who works at the Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital.
Sarah was nominated by the husband of a patient who sadly died earlier this year.
The nomination said: "Sarah is always positive and cheery. She always introduces herself as soon as she can to the patients she is caring for. She is a very caring person who doesn’t forget the role of friends and relatives."
Sarah was presented her award by Sharon Gilligan, Director of Operations for the Trust who said: “I am delighted to present the Employee of the month award to Sarah. She always listens to her patients’ needs and is passionate about providing individualised care with dignity.
“She clearly demonstrates her commitment to her patients and our Trust values. Congratulations Sarah!”
