POLICE are appealing for the public's help after a serious assault outside a takeaway.

The incident happened outside Chester's Chicken on Pall Mall in Chorley at 10.35pm on Wednesday 12th August 2020.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "At this time the assault seems entirely unprovoked and unfortunately the victim has been left with a broken nose and an eye injury which has left him struggling to work since the incident.

"Enquiries have been ongoing and we are now appealing for any help to trace the individuals involved.

"The suspects are believed to be two white males aged in their late teens to early 20's; one male with short blonde hair and the other with short dark hair.

"The males were in company with a white female with a black umbrella who appeared slightly younger in age.

"The victim was wearing a hi vis vest at the time of the incident.
