Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a nineteen-year-old man was attacked.
The incident took place on Dunham Drive, Whittle-Le-Woods, shortly after midnight on September 19 September.
The suspects, three males, approached the victim after following him in a dark coloured vehicle, assaulting him, causing serious injuries, before stealing his personal belongings in the process.
Chorley Investigations Hub are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "It is believed that immediately after the robbery the suspect vehicle has driven along Lucas Lane and onto Town Lane.
"The direction of travel is unknown from this point therefore we urge you to check your footage on any video-doorbells, personal CCTV cameras and dash cams to ascertain whether you can identify a dark vehicle driving past your property at around midnight – 1am on Saturday 19th September.
"This is an isolated incident however we understand that this incident will cause a great deal of concern in the community and we urge you to report any suspicious activity on 101.
"We will continue to conduct enquiries to identify and apprehend the suspects.
