STORTH Community Shop and Post Office is now open after its refit.
Opening hours at present are from 7am until 12.30pm Monday to Saturday and 7am until 10.30am on Sundays.
The Post Office is open from 8.30am until 12.30pm Monday to Friday with a later start of 9am on Wednesdays.
More volunteers are needed if the shop is to open in the afternoons.
Anyone interested should call in to the shop and leave their contact details.
The shop is now selling a wider range of dairy products and groceries, a new range of greeting cards and locally baked Artisan bread.
Newspapers can be ordered for collection or delivery or purchased when in the shop. Any profits are made available by grant application to village organisations or charities that benefit the residents of Storth and the immediate area. Grant application forms for this current year will be available in the shop from September 21, to be returned by October 19.
