A sixth form student from Clitheroe Royal Grammar School has tested positive for coronavirus.
A group of students who have been identified as close contacts have been asked to isolate for 14 days.
Headmaster James Keulemans said: "I can confirm we have had one positive case in our sixth form.
"As a precautionary measure we have followed the public health and government guidelines on tracking and tracing.
"As a case of that a number of our other students are now isolating."
The students will return to school on 28th September if they do not show symptoms of the virus.
