POLICE have tracked down a vandal who set fire to some skateboarding equipment in Sough.
PC Stephen Murphy posted on the Colne and West Craven Police page on social media about the incident on Thursday.
He said: "A piece of skate-boarding equipment was set on fire at Sough Park playground causing the damage.
This skate ramp was deliberately set alight in Sough Park in Earby last night. This type of vandalism is dangerous, destructive and affects the local community. We're working with @PendleBC and @PendlePolice to investigate and prevent further issues here. @Earby_Fire pic.twitter.com/gWPp3qejMz

"We have now located and spoken to the offender and have the full support of both him and his family to put right this wrong.
"An assessment of the damage and the costs to repair or replace the equipment will be undertaken.
"Police will now work with the offender, the Local council and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service to ensure that this person fully understands the consequences of his actions and that he is made to perform a community resolution."
