The road was closed for an hour this morning.
POLICE closed the intersection between Stopes Brow, Blackamoor Junction and Roman Road this morning after a child was hit by a car causing minor injuries.
Officers arrived at the scene at around 8am and closed the section of road from then until 9am.
The girl, who's age has not been released, sustained minor head injuries and was taken to hospital.
The road has been open again since 9am.
