BOLTON brainiac Jenny Ryan has confirmed that ITV’s Beat The Chasers is returning for a second series.
The popular spin-off show, inspired by hit daytime series The Chase, sees solo quizzers take on up to five Chasers with the more of them they go up against, the greater their potential cash prize.
All of the show’s current Chasers will take part in the series: alongside Ryan, with Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty and Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha back for more episodes.
Ryan, 38, tweeted a link to a web page requesting applications for the new series with the closing date for applications Saturday, October 31 2020.
Talking about the first series, Ryan told radiotimes.com it was a thrill to produce.
“It was great to make something so thrilling, so intense and so dramatic,” she said.
“It made the daytime Chase feel so comfortable in comparison!”
