This is the damage that was allegedly caused by three teenage boys to a train station platform.

At around 2pm on Thursday, witnesses who were at Whalley train station claim they saw the boys smash the windows of the platform shelter before running from the scene.

Police were called and officers are now investigating the matter alongside personnel from the British Transport Police.

On Thursday, PCSO Caroline Pemberton said: "We are currently in the Whalley area working with British Transport Police as we have had reports of nuisance and criminal damage to the train station platform at Whalley.

"They do have good CCTV on there and this will get passed to us for possible identification."
